During advanced training cruises we try to join up with local USCG stations to conduct joint training for USCG and NSCC personnel. Here the USCG boat just passed us a P-5 portable dewatering pump and the cadets are attempting to prime and rig the machine as though we were taking on water.

The cadets challanged the USCG to a ship to ship heaving line contest...I think the cadets won!
